Well if you are running out of memory like I always am,
you may need a place to stow yourself (like Gmail drafts, or Dropbox, or social media, or friends/ family/ etc...
But hopefully it will be a place where you also can't LOSE yourself..
If we save ourselves in a place where we can be lost, the consequences could be severely damaging....although it is much more difficult to preserve ourselves in a way that is everlasting, that MUST be the only answer, since no other answers Work.
Longterm memory based on cognitive behavioral training is also a way to solidify our circuitry about HOW THINGS WORK, rather than about what we can remember or how far back we can remember..
This way we NEVER LOSE OUR IDENTITY, since it can regrow at any point!
